CDS Analytical, LLC. has been a leader in the design and manufacture of laboratory instruments for sample preparation and analysis for four decades. Best known in the field of analytical pyrolysis, CDS has supplied instrumentation for a wide range of additional analyses including catalyst screening, reaction optimization, organic headspace analysis, and environmental testing.

Incorporated as Chemical Data Systems, Inc., CDS introduced its first product, the Pyroprobe®, in 1969. The Pyroprobe was used with pyrolysis-gas chromatography to analyze solids. In 1977, CDS produced the 310 Sample Concentrator, a manual purge and trap instrument for environmental analysis. Later we introduced the first microprocessor controlled purge and trap instrument, the CDS Model 320. By the mid-1990s CDS recognized the need for laboratory automation and developed the AS-2500 Pyrolysis Autosampler.

Frontier Laboratories
Frontier Laboratories, Ltd. was founded in 1991 by Dr. Chu Watanabe. His experience working at Hewlett-Packard’s Analytical Division and Dow Chemical made him uniquely qualified to design and market analytical instruments for materials characterization. Dr. Watanabe, with the support of polymer scientists at Nagoya University in Japan, developed a pyrolyzer based on a vertical micro-furnace design. Frontier Lab products are compatible with most gas chromatographs and mass spectrometers from major manufacturers

Markes International is a specialist manufacturer of instrumentation for detection of trace-level volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds (VOCs and SVOCs). Markes has a well-deserved reputation for its application expertise in the field of thermal desorption, supplying a comprehensive range of instrumentation, sampling equipment and consumables that enhance the analytical capability of GC–MS. In addition, Markes has gained recognition for its innovative, high-performance BenchTOF™ range of time-of-flight mass spectrometers for GC with award-winning Select-eV®, variable-energy electron ionisation.

NIST is one of the nation's oldest physical science laboratories. Congress established the agency to remove a major handicap to U.S. industrial competitiveness at the time–a second-rate measurement infrastructure that lagged behind the capabilities of England, Germany, and other economic rivals. Today, NIST measurements support the smallest of technologies–nanoscale devices so tiny that tens of thousands can fit on the end of a single human hair–to the largest and most complex of human-made creations, from earthquake–resistant skyscrapers to wide-body jetliners to global communication networks.

Peak Scientific
Peak Scientific is a leading innovator in the design, manufacture and support of high performance gas generators for analytical laboratories.
