6SECC - 6th Seminar of European Customs Chemists

Sharing knowledge beyond borders

June 22th-24th 2016, Europe Building, Amsterdam

Are you interested in:

  • the many roles Customs laboratories can have (e.g. supporting BTI, intelligence, system based inspection)
  • the newest analyses and sampling procedures for Customs purposes
  • modern laboratory design and analysis technology
  • the latest activities in support of the use of (mobile) detection technology
  • recent participation of Customs laboratories in European R&D and twinning projects
  • current developments in quality assurance and quality control

Then this seminar is for you to visit!
Customs laboratories serve their administrations by applying scientific knowledge to a law enforcement working environment. At the same time they contribute to the administrative goals of doing more work with fewer resources whilst increasing the levels of compliance and security, and keeping abreast of the latest challenges. This urges the laboratories to effectively apply available knowledge and to efficiently fill knowledge gaps, and thus to look beyond their borders.
Commercial parties are encouraged to take active part in this seminar. Engage with the Customs chemists of Europe and beyond to discuss their work and find out how your products can be of assistance to them. We only have 20 spots of 2 m by 1 m available, free of charge, for you to present your products. These spots will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

This seminar is also announced on the European Commission website.
